What the draft website does, what the prototype does, and what still needs confirmation.
This website
This draft uses no advertising, analytics beacon, external font service, account form or tracking cookie. Its images, styles and scripts are served locally. The parts estimator and guide filter work in your browser without submitting their inputs. The release-check button requests this site’s public update announcement only when selected.
Web infrastructure
Website visits and device update checks necessarily reach the hosting infrastructure. IIS, a reverse proxy, CDN or firewall may retain IP addresses, timestamps, requested paths and other request information. Server logging, retention and Cloudflare settings must be confirmed before publishing a final privacy policy. “No account required” does not mean “no server logs.”
The reviewed device prototype
The local v0.4.1 documentation says no GPS history, device identity, friendly name, saved Wi-Fi credentials or trigger counts are uploaded in update requests. The lifetime trigger counter stays in device storage. Crash reporting and server telemetry are not implemented in that source.
Project limits
A mapped camera location is not a verified camera detection. GPS error, unmapped readers, changes in camera placement, film behavior and viewing angle can affect results. The project cannot promise a blocked plate read. The trigger counter measures output activations only.
Before vehicle use
Confirm the plate-display and equipment requirements applicable to your location before installing or operating any panel. The website does not establish that a plate-obscuring installation is lawful. Do not tamper with third-party cameras.
Project status
Documentation reflects the supplied concept and local v0.4.1 source as reviewed on 28 October 2026. Final hardware selection, electrical schematics, physical update/recovery testing, signed metadata and firmware OTA remain unfinished. Kits and a forum are future ideas.
